Who is listening to music near me?

BeatSphere answers that on a live map. Connect your music service and see what people around you are playing right now — then chat, compare taste, and discover music through actual humans instead of an algorithm.

How it works

  1. Connect Last.fm, Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube Music — whatever you already use.
  2. Check in with Discover Mode. You appear on the map as a randomized spot inside an area you choose, never your exact location.
  3. See nearby listeners, their current track, and your taste match with them. Say hi in chat if it clicks.

See the live map of what people are playing

BeatSphere shows what people are listening to near you, in real time. Your exact location is never shared. Others see a randomized spot inside an area you choose, never where you actually are.

Frequently asked questions

How can I see who is listening to music near me?
Open the BeatSphere map, connect a music service (Last.fm, Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube Music), and turn on Discover Mode. You'll see nearby listeners and what they're playing right now.
Will people see exactly where I am?
No. Your exact location is never shared. Others see a randomized spot inside an area you choose (from about 1 km up to 10 km), never where you actually are.
Do I need the app, or does it work in a browser?
Both. The live map works at beatsphere.live/map in any browser, and the iOS and Android apps add check-ins, chat, and taste matching.
What if nobody near me is listening?
Zoom out: the map shows listeners worldwide, and the weekly charts show what cities around the world are playing.
